Broadway alum Darren Criss and his longtime girlfriend Mia Swier announced their engagement January 19.

“Mia and I have had seven and a half years of fun, wacky, wonderful, CRAZY adventures together,” Criss said on Instagram. I’m happy to announce that we’re kicking those adventures up a notch.”

Criss currently stars as spree killer Andrew Cunanan on FX’s The Assassination of Gianni Versace, the second installment in Ryan Murphy’s American Crime Story anthology. He is also known on screen for his performance as Blaine on Glee.

He made his Broadway debut in 2012 in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying before taking on the title role in Hedwig and the Angry Inch. He would go on to reprise his performance in the latter on tour.

Criss is also the co-creator of Elsie Fest, an annual New York event that brings Broadway favorites to the stage in an outdoor music festival setting.
