Playbill caught up with Daniel Radcliffe, Cherry Jones, and Bobby Cannavale ahead of their return to Broadway in the world premiere of The Lifespan of a Fact. The new play by Jeremy Kareken, David Murrell, and Gordon Farrell is directed by Leigh Silverman, and sees three headstrong characters—a writer, an editor, and a fact-checker—locked in a debate about the nature of truth in literary nonfiction.

The Lifespan of a Fact will play a 16-week limited engagement at Studio 54 beginning September 20 prior to an official opening October 18.

The play is based on the essay written about the Las Vegas suicide of teenager Levi Presley. Jim Fingal, assigned to fact check the piece, ignited a seven-year debate on the blurred lines of what passes for truth in literary nonfiction.
