Danai Gurira, the Tony-nominated playwright of Eclipsed and star of The Walking Dead, has signed on to star in Avengers: Infinity War, according to Deadline.
It is expected that she will reprise her role as Okoye, a powerful female warrior she portrays in Marvel’s Black Panther, which hits theatres February 16, 2018.
Gurira also stars as Afeni Shakur in the Tupac Shakur film All Eyez On Me, which arrives in theatres June 16.
