Following a twice-extended world premiere at Off-Broadway's Vineyard Theatre this past fall, Harry Clarke, starring Tony winner Billy Crudup, returns for a 10-week engagement, which officially opened March 18 at the Minetta Lane Theatre.
Obie Award winner David Cale's thriller is again directed by Leigh Silverman. Audible Inc., producer and provider of downloadable audio books, is producing the return engagement.
In Harry Clarke, Crudup stars as a shy, Midwestern man masquerading as a highbrow Londoner in New York City. As he charms his way into a wealthy family’s life, his increasingly risky and dangerous behavior threatens to unravel his persona.
The production features scenic design by Tony nominee Alexander Dodge, costume design by Kaye Voyce, lighting design by Alan Edwards, and sound design by Bart Fasbender.
