Check Out the Asolo Rep Production of Ragtime

Asolo Rep’s 60th anniversary season continues with Ragtime directed by Peter Rothstein, which began performances May 1 for a run through May 27.

Ragtime features a book by Terrence McNally, music by Stephen Flaherty, and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, who all earned Tony Awards for the show. The original Broadway production was directed by Frank Galati, who also received a Tony nomination for his work and is an Associate Artist at Asolo Rep.

McNally, Flaherty, and Galati reunited at the shows opening night May 4:

The creative team includes choreographer Kelli Foster Warder, scenic designer Michael Hoover, costume designer Trevor Bowen, sound designer Justin Stasiw, and music director Steve Orich, who will provide additional orchestrations.
