The first teaser trailer for season two of CBS All Access' The Good Fight promises (just as the original series The Good Wife did) an array of stage favorites heading to the courtroom. Take a look above.
Tony winner Christine Baranski stars in the streaming series, reprising her performance from The Good Wife as Diane Lockhart. In the new season of the spin-off, she, Lucca, and Maia (the latter two played by Broadway alums Cush Jumbo and Rose Leslie) are on alert as they suspect their own clients after the murder of two Chicago lawyers.
Six-time Tony winner Audra McDonald joins the cast for the second season, playing U.S. Attorney Liz Reddick Lawrence—a role she debuted in season four of The Good Wife.
Also making appearances in the teaser are Tony winners Jayne Houdyshell and Christian Borle, as well as myriad Broadway alums including Sarah Steele, Jane Lynch, and Heléne Yorke. Current Hello, Dolly! star Bernadette Peters is expected to return for an episode after playing Lenore Rindell in the premiere season.
The Good Fight returns March 4.
