The Classic Stage Company revival of Carmen Jones will play an additional three weeks, with performances extended through August 19. The John Doyle-helmed production, which stars Tony Award winner Anika Noni Rose in the title role, was previously scheduled through July 29.

The cast is completed by David Aron Damane as Husky Miller, Erica Dorfler as Myrt, Clifton Duncan as Joe, Justin Keyes as Rum, Lindsay Roberts as Cindy Lou, Soara-Joye Ross as Frankie, Andrea Jones-Sojola as Sally, Lawrence E. Street as Dink, and Tramell Tillman as Sergeant Brown.
Featuring a book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, Carmen Jones brings the score of Georges Bizet's Spain-set opera to southern America during World War II, as Carmen, now a parachute factory worker, is caught in a love triangle with an airman and boxer.
The revival features sets by Scott Pask, costumes by Ann Hould-Ward, lighting by Adam Honoré, sound design by Dan Moses Shreier, wig and hair design by Mia Neal, and casting by Telsey + Company. Joseph Joubert serves as orchestrator and music supervisor.
