The Vineyard Theatre will honor Tony Award-winning director Michael Mayer at its 35th anniversary gala May 14 at the Edison Ballroom.
The Tony-winning Spring Awakening director, who returns to Broadway this season with Head Over Heels, has directed the Vineyard productions of Brooklynite, True History & Real Adventures, Antigone in New York, and America Dreaming.
Honoring Mayer will be Billy Crudup, Matt Doyle, Edie Falco, John Gallagher, Jr., Ira Glass, Michael C. Hall, Lena Hall, Tony Kushner, Katharine McPhee, Jessie Mueller, and Sherie Rene Scott. Additional performers will be announced at a later date.
Dick Scanlan and Lorin Latarro will direct the gala. The evening begins at 6:30 PM.
Tables are $25,000, $15,000, and $10,000, and individual tickets are $2,500, $1,500, and $1,000. Tickets can be purchased by emailing [email protected].
