SYNOPSIS: Doris is a Catholic mother of three on her way to a religious retreat. George, also the father of three, is a C.P.A. on a business trip. In 1951 their paths cross at a small California inn. Neither thinks of leaving their mate, but the bond is strong. So once a year for the next quarter century, Doris and George meet again, make love, argue, and talk about their lives and the rapidly changing world. Bittersweet romantic comedy.
