SYNOPSIS:
In Aeschylus's The Suppliant Women, fifty unwilling brides are pledged to fifty eager brothers. The battle of the sexes is still on in Mee's highly physical contemporary adaptation, where three men and three women stand in for the hordes of the betrothed.
