Job Summary:
The Warehouse Associate – Outbound plat a key role in supporting the success of our warehouse and event operations by ensuring that all outbound equipment is accounted for, inspected, and packaged accurately and securely to ensure safe delivery. This hourly, non-exempt position reports to the Warehouse Manager and works closely with fellow warehouse team members to maintain organization, efficiency and high-quality standards. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, bringing a strong work ethic and a collaborative, self-starter mindset. This role requires clear communication across all levels of the team, a willingness to tackle challenges, and the ability to stay motivated while managing project details. A genuine interest in the live events and entertainment lighting industry, along with an eagerness to learn, grow, and adapt as the company evolves, is essential.
Expected Qualifications:
• 2 – 4 years in a live event or AV style equipment warehouse, or in an outbound warehouse position in any field.
• A clean driving record and ability to drive up to a 26’ box truck (non-CDL) into Manhattan and around the NY-Metro area.
• Proven track record and ability as a team player who is consistently willing to go the extra mile.
• Proven ability as a self-starter who thrives on ensuring equipment is accurately tracked and maintained.
• Flexibility to take on overtime work outside of business hours as needed.
• A strong willingness to learn all equipment, tools, processes and nuances of the evolving live entertainment business.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Unflappable, adaptable and ability to maintain positivity in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience training, guiding and tasking others in previous roles is a plus.
• Bi-lingual in both English and Spanish is a plus.
• High School diploma preferred by not required.
Job Responsibilities:
• Serve as the outbound equipment lead, track and organize all outbound equipment and ensure all projects are ready to outbound at least 48 business hours before the order date.
• Pull equipment for rentals and events according to provided Shop Lists maintain accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to prioritize timelines and event needs with a wholistic view of the warehouse and its supplies.
• Ensure that all equipment on a job is accurately scanned out and is in working order prior to packing.
• Assist with regularly scheduled maintenance and repair work as needed on equipment and tools.
• Work with the Warehouse Manager to oversee and direct any part time associates to assist with outbound processes.
• Learn all equipment, tools, processes and nuances of the live entertainment business, as needed.
• Serve as an occasional truck driver for company sprinter van, and rental box-trucks (up to 26’). Keep safety and rules of the road in mind, maintain a clean driving record.
• Collaborate with the Inbound + QC Associate to keep workspaces clean and tidy at all times. This includes but is not limited to putting tools/equipment away upon completion of tasks, sweeping/cleaning on a regular basis, waste removal and disposal from building, and other duties as assigned.
• Work closely with the management team in developing and documenting processes.
• Collaborate with other full-time warehouse staff in training, guiding and tasking any freelance warehouse hands.

This position is paid hourly, with overtime after 40 hours per week, with a starting rate of between $28-$32/hr, depending on experience. This position is fulltime 40hrs per week and will be expected to work overtime during busy periods. Benefits are available after a 3mo trial period.
