Professional Training for Actors Entering Voiceover

Voiceover is one of the most active performance spaces in the industry, but it requires a specific skill set that differs from stage and on-camera work.

VO Workshop NYC is led by two working voice actors and Broadway performers with over 20 years of professional experience across national commercials, animation, video games, and motion capture. Our training is designed for actors who want to approach voiceover with craft, clarity, and a strong understanding of how casting functions today.

VO Foundations: Commercial

Saturday, April 11
12:00–2:00 PM ET (Online via Zoom)

An interactive introduction to commercial voiceover.

Actors will work with current copy while learning how to interpret specs, adjust performance for the mic, and deliver grounded, conversational reads that align with current casting expectations.

VO Foundations: Animation

Session 1: April 13
Session 2: April 20
(90 minutes each | Online via Zoom)

A two-session foundation in animation voiceover rooted in acting technique.

Actors explore how to break down scenes specifcally for animation while bringing emotional truth to their reads. Emphasis is placed on storytelling, adaptability and how to prep for auditioning for professional animation and gaming jobs.
