For over a decade, the Theatre Aspen Apprentice Program (TAAP) has been a launchpad for rising theatre artists and administrators to train alongside top industry professionals in one of the most stunning places in the country. Apprentices spend the summer working with Broadway professionals on MainStage productions, cabarets, special events, and education programs — getting real-world experience from first rehearsal to final performance.

What you’ll gain:
Hands-on experience on mainstage productions, cabarets, and special events
Weekly seminars with directors, designers, producers, and other industry leaders
Close collaboration with Broadway, touring, regional theatre, TV/film professionals
Opportunities to teach, assist in the administrative office, and build multi-disciplinary skills
For Performance & Stage Management Apprentices: eligibility to pursue AEA membership via Open Access after the summer
Dates & Compensation:
Contract: Mid–May 2026 – Late August 2026
Fee: Each person selected for the program will receive a $400 p/w scholarship
Plus: Housing and travel provided
