Bay Ridge Sports & Theater Camp is looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to join our growing team in providing a top notch summer program. In order to apply to this job please see what the job entails and the requirement's down below

Job tasks/skills:

• Organization is key since you will be asked to multitask throughout the day

• Ability to adapt a play/script to campers

• Be creative with costume, props and set pieces within a budget

• Do daily supply checks and complete order forms

• Perform walk-throughs consistently to make sure everyone is on task and campers are engaged

• Ability to create schedules, maintain and adjust them accordingly

• Fill out a DAP each day and report back to director

• Observe staff during activities and provide feedback

• Help with camp activities including but not limited to going on trips, running a group or even helping out at lunch

• Collect/check all attendance forms and make sure they are accurate

• Learn how to use our software programs and make sure everything is updated

• Help out with arrival and dismissal

• Oversea cleaning and maintenance crew

• Help take short video clips and pictures for our social media page/ website.

Job Requirements:

• Must have at least 2-3 years in play writing/director theatre role

• At least 2 years working in a camp-like setting

• Flexibility with scheduling

• Teaching license (preferred but not mandatory)

• Experience with order forms and managing supplies

• Social Media and marketing experience (preferred)

• Able to create a script and set vision for a play

• Lead rehearsals

• Find, interview and hire potential new staff as needed

• Work a few days in May/June (planning hours and meetings)

• Set staff schedule

• Work with set design and budgets minimum 1 year

Job Types: Temporary, Contract, Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $38.00 - $55.00 per hour Plus bonuses!!!

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday 8am-3pm June 30th-August 22nd

• Ability to commute/relocate:

• Brooklyn, NY 11209: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

Theater: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification: teaching license (preferred but not mandatory)

SALARY

$38.00 – $55.00 per hour
