DESCRIPTION
Seeking non-union performers for a staged reading of "A Christmas Carol" by Jess Reed, adapted from the story by Charles Dickens
We're so eager to see your work, and we thank you for your interest in this project!
This project is slated to perform at the Producers Club (358 W 44th St, New York, NY 10036) on December 13th at 7pm.
As this is a fundraiser for the Entertainment Community Fund, actors will be unpaid. However, footage will be available from our performance to be used at the liberty of the cast!
The expectations of this project are 3 rehearsals prior to show date the weekend of the 13th. There will be 2 Zoom rehearsals, 2 hours long each, and one staging rehearsal, 3 hours long. Please share below your general availability from December 3rd to December 12th to coordinate these rehearsals.
This production is a staged reading, with minimal blocking and an emphasis on actor storytelling. We are looking for passionate storytellers with a lot of heart, above all else!

3rd Caroler: Fred, Dick Wilkins, Peter Cratchit, Undertaker
4th Caroler: Collector One, Fan, Party Guest, Christmas Present, Mrs. Dilber
5th Caroler: Young Scrooge, Martha Cratchit, Fred's Wife, Christmas Future
6th Caroler: Jacob Marley, Party Guest, Tiny Tim, Businessman, Laundress, Turkey Boy
7th Caroler: Collector Two, Belle, Party Guest, Belinda Cratchit, Old Joe
8th Caroler: Christmas Past, Mrs. Cratchit, Party Guest, Businessman, Debtor
