DESCRIPTION

On Behalf of the General Managers, TT Partners, Aurora Productions is currently seeking a Props Head for the National Touring production of OPERATION MINCEMEAT. Operation Mincemeat will be a 4 truck tour with a same day load in.

Responsibilities include:
· Planning, setting up, loading in and teching a brand new touring musical alongside the other departments.
· Working with the Production Carpenter to advance the show and how show storage and backstage traffic and wardrobe/hair, musicians, trunk storage may be modified to anticipatie any idiosyncrasies or challenges a venue may present.
· Supervise installation, operation, and disassembly of all technical elements in the prop department in coordination with other department heads including band seating.
· Supervise Assistant Prop person and local crews for load ins and load outs.
· Running a full track, teaching locals their tracks and overseeing locals throughout the run of the show.
· Keeping up on maintenance of props with work calls, managing spares and ordering of any perishables for the prop department over the course of the tour.
· Other duties as assigned by General Management, Company Management or Production Manager.

Qualifications:
· Minimum 5 years touring experience with a Broadway musical or play as a Head of Department or commensurate experience.
· Minimum 3 Hears as a Department Head
· Team player with strong communication skills
· Work in a fast-paced environment
· IATSE Member

Salaries:

Head- $2,000/week
