Houston Broadway Theatre seeks an experienced Production Stage Manager for its 2026 summer production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

Position Overview

The Production Stage Manager will serve as the organizational and communicative leader of the production, overseeing all stage management operations from pre-production through closing. The PSM will work closely with the producer, director, creative team, general manager, production manager, and company to ensure a smooth rehearsal process, an efficient technical period, and a consistent, well-run performance schedule.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and experienced in managing complex musicals with significant technical and musical elements.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a PSM on large-scale musicals

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Experience working with union performers and production teams

• Ability to manage a fast-paced rehearsal and tech process
