DESCRIPTION

The Pekoe Group is an award-winning, fast paced, full-service advertising agency in NYC, working with the city's top Broadway shows, Off-Broadway shows, and restaurants.

We are seeking a Part Time Video Editor and Motion Designer to join our team.

This role will work within the Creative department to deliver short and long-form video for the agency’s clients, including social media content, digital advertising, and more.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Creating engaging and exciting short and long-form videos, with a mix of video footage and motion graphics

- Delivering finalized videos optimized for a variety of platforms and media, including social media (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc), digital advertising, digital outdoor displays, and more

- Collaborating with Video Editors, Designers, and other internal teams to bring projects from concept to completion

- Ensuring videos align with creative briefs, client preferences/branding, and making edits as needed from Accounts and internal teams

- Maintaining project timelines and staying on track to meet deadlines, with flexibility for urgent/short notice requests and changes

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

- At least 1 year of experience within an advertising agency or similar experience in video production

- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (strong knowledge and proficiency with Adobe After Effects and Photoshop a plus)

- The ability to work well as part of a team



- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

- A high level of organization and attention to detail

- The ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

- A positive attitude and ability to adapt and be flexible with systems, procedures and personalities



- Excitement and curiosity about the theatre industry

SCHEDULE: 20-25 hours per week

COMPENSATION: $35 per hour
