DESCRIPTION
KOTA Productions is now casting its summer 2026 Mainstage production of Roald Dahl’s Tony Award–winning musical, Matilda the Musical, presented Off-Broadway in Times Square, NYC.
CASTING
This audition-based production offers performers ages 7–23 the opportunity to rehearse and perform in a professional theatre environment alongside experienced adult actors. Performers will be cast in either the Youth Mainstage Company (ages 7–15) or the Emerging Artists Company (ages 14–23).
KOTA Productions is committed to inclusive casting and encourages performers of all backgrounds and abilities to audition.
Audition videos must be submitted through the KOTA website.
SCHEDULE
This is a hybrid production, combining remote rehearsals with in-person rehearsals and performances.
Remote Rehearsals: July 12–29, 2026 (select dates), 5:00–8:00 PM EST
In-Person Rehearsals & Performances: August 1–9, 2026 (NYC)
The production will use multiple casts; performers will be scheduled only for assigned rehearsals and performances.
