The MSMT Singers- Non-Equity performers for Maine State Music Theatre's 2026 Season (See breakdown below).

The MSMT Singers will be cast in Hairspray, Frozen, TYA’s Shrek and Little Mermaid, concerts, and special events.

The MSMT Singers contract dates are May 19 – Aug 1, 2026. Performers must be available for the full contract.

PREPARATION

What to Prepare/Bring:

o HEADSHOT & RESUME: please bring 2 H/R’s, stapled back-to-back. Include your height.

o SINGERS: Please prepare 16 bars of 2 contrasting songs. Songs from the season are fine, but not required. Bring sheet music in the correct key. Accompanist provided. Some singers may be asked to Dance. You will be learning jazz and tap combinations. Please be prepared and warmed up prior to the audition. Bring appropriate dance clothes and shoes.

o DANCERS: You will be learning a jazz and tap combination. Please be prepared and warmed up prior to the audition. Bring appropriate dance clothes and shoes. Some dancers may be asked to Sing.
