Production Assistant – Some Enchanted Evening

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and enthusiastic Production Assistant to join the production team for Some Enchanted Evening. This role is essential to supporting both the rehearsal process and live performances.

About the Show

Some Enchanted Evening is a musical revue featuring the timeless songs of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II, celebrating classics from beloved Broadway productions.

Position Overview

The Production Assistant will work closely with the Director, cast, and crew throughout the rehearsal period and will serve as part of the run crew during performances.

Key Responsibilities

During Rehearsals:

• Assist with daily rehearsal setup and strike

• Help track props, set pieces, and rehearsal materials

• Take notes as needed and distribute rehearsal reports

• Maintain organization of backstage and rehearsal spaces

• Support cast and creative team with logistical needs

During Performances (Run Crew):

• Execute backstage scene shifts and set changes

• Manage and preset props

• Assist with quick changes as needed

• Ensure backstage areas remain quiet, safe, and organized

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented

• Ability to lift and move set pieces as required

• Previous theater experience preferred

• Must be available for the entirety of the contract
• Must be local to the theater and have reliable form of transportation

All rehearsals are paid and up to $150/ performance
