DESCRIPTION
Playwright cohort member submissions are open for Theatre Write Now’s third annual cohort program until Midnight on January 5th. Create new plays with new peers and have the opportunity to see a developmental staged reading of your work produced.
Cost: Free. Theatre Write Now is a fully volunteer-run program with no charge to participants.
When: Monday nights, 7 pm-10 pm, starting on January 26th, ending April 13th. Public staged readings of the generated works rehearse and perform, one per week, for the 10 weeks following the last cohort session.
Where: All cohort meetings, rehearsals, and performances will be in Manhattan, New York. Theatre Write Now is NOT a remote/virtual program.

Theatre Write Now is a collaborative and generative cohort for early-career playwrights produced and facilitated by KOPCORP. Co-produced by Daisy Theatricals, Anna Giacalone, and Kelsey Ballard.
Theatre Write Now is founded and produced by Alex Kopnick and KOPCORP, with the aim of creating a theatre-making community that can rely on one another for constructive, positive feedback when sharing bold new work, helping new writers connect with others in the industry, and generating new artistic projects for early-career artists and audiences.
