DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for intelligent, motivated actors and writers to join our intensive playwriting lab.

Every weekend, writers gather to create original one-act plays (10–20 pages) in three hours, inspired by a randomized prompt. Writers may work independently or in pairs—you may choose your own collaborator, or we can assign one.

Actors rehearse the freshly written plays for two hours, followed by a staged reading of each piece. We end the day with a structured, constructive dialogue designed to further strengthen our individual work.

Actors: Please send performance footage and a résumé.
Writers: Please send writing samples (comedy preferred). If you believe you have writing talent but do not have samples to submit, please write a one-page argument explaining why your favorite play is well written.
