Auditions For "Hamlet" by William Shakespeare
The Onomatopoeia Theatre Company is looking for 11 actors for our next production: "Hamlet". The central goal of this production is to honor Shakespeare’s text while also inspecting the legend of Amleth, the legendary Scandinavian figure (circa 1200 AD) who directly inspired Shakespeare's “Hamlet”. This show will be set in Denmark, during the 1200’s with costumes of the period and will be using Shakespeare’s text.

April 24th & 25th

Call Backs:
April 26th
5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Rehearsal Information:
Rehearsals begin June 6th and will be three days a week, from 10:00AM - 1:00PM (Sat), 10:00AM – 1 PM (Sun.) and 6PM – 9PM until Sun. June 28th.
Tech Dates:
June 29 – July 1 from 6PM – 10PM
Performance Dates:
July 2nd – July 25th

Union / Non-Union. Seeking AEA Showcase approval.
Preparation:
Those auditioning should prepare one two minute classic monologue or two contrasting one minute classic monologues, one classical and one of your choice.
