SEEKING

Equity chorus dancers (Female characters) for Flat Rock Playhouse's 2026 Season.

Actors of all races, ethnicities, gender identities, body types, ages, as well as performers with disabilities are encouraged to audition.

PREPARATION

Please come prepared to dance. Bring jazz shoes or dance sneakers, your picture/resume stapled together and book of music in case you are asked to stay and sing.

An accompanist will be provided.

TRAVIS: Chuck’s buddy - a few lines, sings strong 3-part harmony, some dancing 18-25.

JETER: Ren and Willard’s friend, some lines, sings 3-part harmony, some dancing 18-25.

SISTER MARY THERESA: A nun of the convent, the oldest of the group. Decrepit at a glance but secretly packs a punch. Gender: female. Age: 60 to 70+

MICHELLE: One of Deloris’ back-up singers. Lippy and always quick with a retort. Gender: female. Age: 20 to 30

TINA: One of Deloris’ back-up singers. A little thick and naive. Gender: female. Age: 20 to 30

ERNIE: One of Curtis’ thugs. Initially thought to be a mindless yes-man, he turns out to be an undercover informant. Gender: male. Age: 25 to 35+
