The Role (Quick Overview)
SO Fun City is casting outgoing, high-energy performers to host The SO Fun Gameshow — a live, fast-paced, TV-style game show for schools and camps. The show blends comedy, improv, and interactive challenges to teach Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) like kindness and teamwork.

The Vibe
Double Dare meets a high-energy summer camp counselor. You’re the host, hype-person, and ring leader — keeping kids engaged, laughing, and cheering.

What You’ll Do:
🎤 Host 60-minute live game shows with confident, “big-kid” energy
🤝 Engage kids using improv, crowd work, and humor
⭐ Lead SEL moments through gameplay
🎛️ Assist with running tech cues and load-in/out (training provided)

Who We’re Looking For:
🎭 Performers with experience in theater, improv, stand-up, children's theater!
⚡ Big energy, strong projection, great comedic timing
✅ Reliable and professional, great with kids (K–8)
🚗 Able to lift ~40 lbs, valid driver’s license (car access is a big plus)

Pay & Time:
💰 $150–$200 per event
🎬 Paid rehearsals / training
⏱️ 4–5 hours per event, including setup + show
📍 Drivable gigs (NYC, Long Island, NJ, PA, CT)
