DESCRIPTION
Amoeba Productions welcomes dancers and choreographers of all genres to apply for our first Emerging Choreographers Residency Program. This program will select two choreographers who will each create a 15-20 minute piece to present for a one night performance on June 28, 2026.
The selected choreographers will be provided with a stipend of $100. They will also each get 20 hours of paid rehearsal space and a performance venue in New York City. Amoeba Productions will also film and publish rehearsals and performances for future use in dance reels.
Choreographers will create their dance pieces, assemble their own dancers*, and lead rehearsals.
There is no application fee for this program.
*Please note that the dancers brought on by the choreographer will not be given a stipend from Amoeba Productions.
