The Pekoe Group is an award-winning, fast paced, full service advertising agency in NYC, working with the city's top Broadway shows, Off-Broadway shows, and restaurants.
We are seeking a full-time Campaign Marketing Director to join our team.
The Campaign Marketing Director will oversee the holistic development, execution, and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns. This includes managing the media planning and buying, guiding the social media, partnerships, and promotions strategies, and ensuring all campaign elements work together to achieve client goals.
This is a senior level role, for someone who is equal parts strategist, collaborator, and operator. The ideal candidate is comfortable with leading cross-functional teams while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering best-in-class campaign performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Campaign Strategy & Leadership
- Developing comprehensive multi-channel campaign strategies that align with client goals and brand identity
- Overseeing all campaign plans from conception through execution, including media, social, and promotional components
- Serving as the senior strategic lead in internal brainstorms and client meetings
- Translating complex goals into clear roadmaps, timelines, and KPIs
- Working with the Account Manager to ensure all aspects of the campaign are on brand and on budget
Media Planning & Buying Oversight
- Leading and managing the media planning and buying to deliver cohesive cross-platform media plans
- Ensuring smart budget allocation across channels, including digital, OOH, print, broadcast, streaming, and emerging platforms
-Reviewing and refining media plans for accuracy, effectiveness, and innovation
-Evaluating campaign performance data and recommending optimizations
Social Media & Partnerships Oversight
- Working with the directors of the Social Media and Partnerships departments to ensure briefs are clear for campaign moments
- Overseeing social media strategy, content planning, and community engagement to ensure alignment with campaign goals
- Guiding partnerships, influencer programs, experiential activations, and promotional initiatives to ensure alignment with campaign goals
- Ensuring integrated messaging across all channels and touch points
Client Management
- Acting as a senior point-of-contact for key clients, building trust through strong communication and strategic counsel
- Presenting plans, insights, performance reporting, and optimization recommendations
- Managing expectations and ensuring agency excellence across deliverables
Team Leadership & Cross-Department Collaboration
- Leading and mentoring marketing staff
- Facilitating collaboration between strategic and creative departments
- Fostering a positive, solution-oriented team culture
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years experience in media planning, digital marketing, or related disciplines at a theatrical advertising agency
- Proven ability to oversee multi-channel campaigns with many moving parts
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
- Strong Google Spreadsheets & Excel skills
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing cross-functional teams
- Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, and relationship building skills
- Deep understanding of digital platforms, analytics tools, and performance insights
- Ability to juggle multiple campaigns, personalities, and deadlines with grace and clarity
- A strategic thinker with a creative approach to problem solving
