DESCRIPTION

Black Spectrum Theatre is currently in its 55th season of operation!

A staple in the Queens community for groundbreaking theatre that highlights the works of BIPOC writers, musicians and artists!

We are currently looking for Stage Managers, Assistant Stage Managers, Production Assistants and Operators for the remainder of our 55th season 2024-2025 and our upcoming Summer programming for 2025

Stage Manager/Assistant Stage Manager Applicants must have the following:
3 years experience
Organization Skills
Project management skills
Ability to lift 10 pounds
Ability to call shows
Problem Solving skills

Production Operator Applicants (Lights or Sound) must have the following:
Knowledge of Soundboard and Qlab
Knowledge of Lightboard
Ability to program
Ability to hang
Design experience a plus
Concert experience a plus (for both Lights and Sound)
Experience in Theater a MUST

Production Assistant Applicants must have the following:
Experience working for theater or music venues
Ability to work quickly on feet
Knowledge of front of house procedures and backstage etiquette
Customer service skills
*This is a seasonal position with flexible hours depending on production*
