Area Stage, an award-winning theatre company and conservatory, seeks a General Manager to oversee daily operations and strategic growth. Reporting to the Artistic and Executive Directors, the General Manager will manage budgets, payroll, contracts, grants, and corporate compliance while ensuring efficient resource allocation and personnel oversight. Responsibilities include collaborating on strategic planning, supervising staff, and supporting the Conservatory and Inclusion Theatre Project. The role also involves leading fundraising efforts, including Give Miami Day and the Annual Gala, and working with Marketing to grow audiences and visibility. Ideal candidates have experience in arts management or nonprofits, strong financial skills, QuickBooks proficiency, and excellent organizational and communication abilities. A passion for the performing arts and knowledge of Miami’s cultural landscape are preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience, with a competitive benefits package.
