The Administrator to the Kewsong Lee Artistic Director provides administrative and creative support to the Artistic Director, ensuring the smooth operation of artistic projects, productions, and day-to-day functions. This role involves collaborating with multiple departments, coordinating schedules, managing communications, and assisting with the development and execution of artistic vision.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Administrative Support:
• Manage the Artistic Director’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and rehearsals.
• Handle correspondence, phone calls, emails, and other communications on behalf of the Artistic Director.
• Maintain and organize files related to productions, projects, and other artistic endeavors.
• Coordinate travel arrangements, itineraries, and accommodations for the Artistic Director.
Project and Event Coordination:
• Help develop and track timelines for artistic projects and initiatives.
• Serve as a liaison between the Artistic Director and other departments, ensuring smooth communication and project flow.
• Monitor the progress of artistic projects and report back to the Artistic Director with updates or concerns.
• Assist in planning and coordinating special events.
• Provide research and creative input as required by the Artistic Director.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Artistic Director to support the organization’s artistic mission.
Position Requirements and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Theater, Performing Arts, or related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2 years of experience in an administrative assistant role within the performing arts or theater industry, experience as an executive assistant role preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and other productivity software.
• Strong interest in the performing arts and creative processes.
• Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Compensation:
This is a full-time, exempt, salaried position with an annual salary range of $70,000-$75,000. Lincoln Center Theater provides comprehensive benefits including: Paid Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 403(b) and Employer Match, and Paid Time Off.
