Seeking actors & directors for Abingdon Theatre Company's sixth annual Raise the Page, Uplift the Word: A BIPOC Festival of Short Plays in collaboration with AMT Theater.
Actors: Seeking actors for our festival of short plays; descriptions below. Please ensure you are available for the in-person festival in New York City from March 9-10, 2026.
Submissions will be open from 01/12/25 through 01/20/25
SEEKING:
Female Presenting, 20s-30s, South Asian American. Both quick-witted and poetic.
Male Presenting, any age, Black/African American. Rhythmic, powerful, reflective.
Female Presenting, 20s-30s, Hispanic. Bold, outspoken, persuasive.
Female Presenting, 50s-60s, Black/African American. Resilient, loving, protective.
BIPOC Directors: please ensure you are available for the in-person festival in New York City from March 9-10, 2026. `
