For the Makers Productions is seeking submissions for the role of MILO McKAY (Male, 20s) in Between In Between, a new two-actor play by Amy Helms, directed by Leah Beth Etheredge.

Set along the West Virginia / Kentucky border in the 1880s, Between In Between follows two young lovers who steal one fleeting moment to ask: does love conquer all? The play blends language, physical storytelling, and rapid character transformation in an intimate theatrical experience.

Role Breakdown – Milo McKay:
Milo is one of two actors in the play and portrays five distinct characters, requiring strong command of voice, physicality, and emotional transformation. The ideal actor is agile, grounded, and confident navigating quick transitions while sustaining a deeply human throughline.

Production Details:

Rehearsals: Evenings starting April 7th 2026, full-day rehearsals April 17–27
Performances: April 28 & 29, May 2, 6, 9, and 10, 2026
Venue: The Tank NYC (New York City)

Compensation:
$1,250 stipend

Audition Information:
Virtual submissions are being accepted through Google Form below.

Actors should submit a 1-minute dramatic monologue (contemporary or Shakespeare). Already-recorded monologues are welcome; no new material is required.

Callbacks:
Invited callbacks will be held in person in NYC on Saturday, January 31, 2026.
