News You Must Always Leave the Wall: The Fantasticks Celebrates Extension with Breakfast and Special Seminar The Theater Center in New York will present "Everything You Always Wanted to Know About The Fantasticks But Were Afraid to Ask on June 20, which will feature a catered breakfast, guest speakers, a matinee performance and talk back with co-author Tom Jones, plus other cast and creatives, along with the show's historian.

Following the announcement of its closing date, Off-Broadway classic The Fantasticks received an overwhelming amount of support from the theatre community--along with the financial support of two "angels--and consequently the show was able to continue its record-breaking run. Kicking off with a breakfast, the event will feature guest speakers including original Fantasticks star Rita Gardner, historian and Playbill.com Managing Editor Robert Viagas (co-author of the book "The Amazing Story of The Fantasticks") as well as previous cast members, producers and other guests.

Following the matinee performance, playwright and director Tom Jones will take part in a talk-back with cast and creatives.

Tickets range $60-$100 with all proceeds benefiting The Fantasticks' Kids in Theater program, a Theater Center initiative that gives free tickets to New York City schoolchildren who don't have the opportunity to see theatre.
