Works & Process, the performing arts program at the Guggenheim Museum that supports artists throughout their artistic process while providing a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes world for the general public, has announced the lineup for its fall 2023 season of collaborations and partnerships.

The new season will mark the largest in Works & Process' history.

This season, artistic directors from American Ballet Theatre, Dance Theatre of Harlem, and San Francisco Ballet will be involved in Works & Process' support of street and social dance. Highlights of the season include a special Broadway preview performance and discussion of Gutenberg! The Musical! with Alex Timbers, Josh Gad, Andrew Rannells, Scott Brown and Anthony King; a world premiere from Lar Lubovitch, Adrian Danchig-Waring, and Anthony Roth Costanzo; The Metropolitan Opera's Dead Man Walking by Jake Heggie and Terrence McNally; Wus Poppin NYC with hip-hop legends Kwikstep and Rokafella; and more. Attendees will also be able to enjoy Tony-winning Broadway icon Chita Rivera in conversation with Patrick Pacheco.

The Works & Process LaunchPAD, which offers artists fully funded creative residencies, will be active with 13 partners in 8 counties throughout New York and Massachusetts. Additionally, the season will feature Works & Process presenting programming at the Guggenheim Museum and the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, in partnership with the Jerome Robbins Dance Division, and seven previous Works & Process commissions will tour to six states and the District of Columbia.

The season will culminate in Works & Process' series of family programs, including Peter & the Wolf, Third Bird, and the Rotunda Holiday Concert featuring Charles Turner & Uptown Swing with Jasmine Rice LaBeija.
