The production of the Lerner and Loewe classic My Fair Lady, from Opera Australia, officially opened at the Sydney Opera House September 6. Original Eliza Doolittle, Dame Julie Andrews, returned to the show to direct the Australian premiere at the historic waterfront theatre. Performances began August 30 and play through November 5.

Anna O’Byrne stars as Eliza, with Alex Jennings as Henry Higgins. The cast also includes Robyn Nevin, Reg Livermore and Tony Llewellyn-Jones.
