The life and defection of legendary Soviet ballet dancer Rudolph Nureyev is captured in the new feature film, The White Crow, which arrives in theatres April 26.
Featuring a screenplay by playwright David Hare, and direction by Ralph Fieness—who also stars—The White Crow features Ukrainian dancer Oleg Ivenko as Nureyev as the film follows his early training, years in the Soviet ballet, and a fateful 1961 trip to Paris during which he decided to flee his country.
