Telly Leung, who is currently starring as the Phantom in Off-Broadway's Masquerade—an immersive reworking of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera—has recorded an acoustic version of the Phantom's anthem, "Music of the Night."

With music by Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Charles Hart and Richard Stilgoe, the recording features an arrangement and guitar accompaniment by Will Shishmanian

About the cover, Leung writes on Instagram, "Being part of this renaissance of #andrewlloydwebber and reimagining #phantomoftheopera every night with my gorgeous @masqueradenyc company has inspired my mates and I to do some reimagining ourselves and create some #acoustic covers of our favorite #andrewlloydwebber tunes. First up: 'Music of the Night'."

Masquerade officially opened September 29, 2025, and is currently set to run through March 29, 2026. The inventive staging plays to six small audience groups each night: Across the six performance time slots, the Phantom is played by Leung, Jeff Kready, Hugh Panaro, Kyle Scatliffe, Clay Singer, and Nik Walker.
