A newly released trailer for Broadway's upcoming Bobby Darin jukebox biomusical Just In Time is giving us a sneak peek at Tony-winning star Jonathan Groff as the iconic "Beyond the Sea" singer. Watch above.

The new musical is set to make its world premiere on the Main Stem this season, with previews beginning March 28, 2025, ahead of an official opening April 23 at the Circle in the Square Theatre.

Tony winner Alex Timbers will be at the helm of the immersive staging that will see the theatre transformed into an intimate nightclub with a live, onstage big band. Groff will be joined by a cast of 16 (to be announced), tracking Darin's life story and performing his greatest hits, including "Splish Splash," "Dream Lover," and "Mack the Knife."

The work, developed by Timbers and based on an original concept by Ted Chapin, features a book by Tony winner Warren Leight and Isaac Oliver (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel). Shannon Lewis will choreograph, with music supervision and arrangements by Andrew Resnick. Tom Kirdahy, Robert Ahrens, John Frost, and Groff are producing. Further casting and creative team members are to be announced.

Groff won a Tony Award earlier this year for his performance in the Tony-winning revival of Merrily We Roll Along, and has also appeared on Broadway in Spring Awakening and Hamilton.
