Special Features Video Recap: Watch the Performances from Miscast 2016 If you couldn’t be there live and in person at MCC’s Miscast gala, stop, watch and listen to all of the show-stopping songs.

Instead of scouring the internet for the 2016 Miscast renditions of your favorite Broadway tunes, we put them all in one place. Brace yourself for the tidal wave of musical theatre greatness.

We begin with the opening number to end all opening numbers:

Ana Villafañe of On Your Feet! raps as Aaron Burr, joined by Joshua Colley (Angelica), Luca Padovan (Eliza) and Douglas Baldeao (Peggy) in Hamilton’s “The Schuyler Sisters.”

Gavin Creel of She Loves Me followed up with “As If We Never Said Goodbye” from Sunset Boulevard.

In her Miscast debut, Lea Salonga sang “Why God Why?”—a song she’s heard hundreds of times, but never sang in performance.

Miscast regular, Tituss Burgess, stunned with his version of “Stay With Me” from Into the Woods.

Aaron Tveit delivered a touching performance, singing “As Long As He Needs Me” from Oliver!

Burgess joined his Kimmy Schmidt creator, Tina Fey, in a duet of “You’re Nothing Without Me” from City of Angels.

Broadway newcomer Cynthia Erivo blew the roof off of the Hammerstein Ballroom with “Piece of the Sky” from Yentl. Watch her fly, indeed.

Creel and Tveit made hearts melt and feet stomp in their version of Rent’s “Take Me or Leave Me.”

WaitressKeala Settle finished the night with a very personal take on “The Impossible Dream” from Man of La Mancha.
