The RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars winner will star as Blythe Danner in the musical reimagining of the infamous accident.

London's Pleasance Theatre will kick off 2024 with the return of Gwyneth Goes Skiing, a musical reimagining of the infamous skiing accident between Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow and a retired optometrist. Previously playing Pleasance in December, the musical quickly became a viral sensation, selling out its initial run.

Joining Linus Karp as Gwyneth Paltrow and Joseph Martin as Terry Sanderson will be RuPaul's Drag Race All Star Trixie Mattel, who will appear in a filmed segment as Gwyneth's mother, Blythe Danner. The return engagement will run January 30 through February 16.

From March 10 to 27, GISELLE: REMIX will play Pleasance, blending cabaret, theatre, lip sync, and complex choreography created in collaboration with dancers from the Royal Ballet. Also in March, Edinburgh Fringe hit one-person show Wasteman will run March 14, 15, and 16, with Sergio Maggiolo’s Jeezus! F*cking Christ running March 21 and 22. March 20 and 23 will see Sam McArdle's dark comedy The Manny.

In a split presentation honoring a variety of iconic cabaret legends, Mahatma Khandi'sThe Khandi Shop will be on offer February 23 and April 19, preceding Polly—The Heartbreak Opera, which will run May 8 through 11. A radical adaptation of Polly, John Gay's banned sequel to The Beggar's Opera, the techno musical is inspired by Peaches, Britney Spears, and Nina Simone. 

Additional offerings throughout the season will include Late Night Magic and Gamble, as well as the bi-annual theatre-meets-wrestling festival Wrestival May 2 through 4.
