Tony winner Idina Menzel, who returns to the New York stage later this month in the Roundabout Theatre Company production of Skintight, lends her vocals to the Sixth Annual Karaoke Benefit May 21 at the PlayStation Theater, 1515 Broadway at 44th St.
Menzel will be joined by cast members from the Broadway productions of The Lion King, Frozen (to which Menzel obviously has ties), SpongeBob SquarePants, and Hello, Dolly! The fundraiser begins at 7:30 PM.
Proceeds benefit A BroaderWay Foundation, which Menzel founded in 2010 to offers girls from urban communities an outlet for self-expression and creativity through arts-centered programs.
