Whitaker will reflect on her journey through life as she interprets tunes by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Stephen Sondheim and more. The evening will also feature a tribute to the late Whitney Houston.
This former Miss Louisiana and Hall of Fame Star Search Grand Champion winner was a guest performer at The Freedom Awards honoring Oprah Winfrey, President Bill Clinton and actress Ruby Dee, sang duets with Andrea Bocelli during a tour, and also has performed with Josh Groban, Michael Buble and Chris Botti. She recently penned her first book, an award-winning memoir entitled "Finding My Voice."
