Lilla Crawford, who starred in the title role in the 2012 Broadway revival of Annie and as Little Red Riding Hood in the 2014 film adaptation of Into the Woods, is one of six young actors in the new Netflix series The Who Was? Show, now available to stream.
The historical comedy sketch program, which introduces the younger generation to well-known figures from the past, also features Hayley Tju, Adam Hochstetter, Bentley Green, Zach Timson, and Kirrille Berger as well as Comedy Central's Andy Daly, who is cast as a meddlesome TV executive. Inspired by the Who Was? biography series, the TV program offers a mix of live action, animated shorts, improvisation, sketches, musical performances, and guest appearances.
The young actors play themselves as well as famous and infamous characters in the show-within-a-show.
