News The Lion King's Tshidi Manye Will Offer "Wildflower!" Album Release Concert Tshidi Manye, who currently stars on Broadway as Rafiki in Disney's The Lion King, will celebrate the release of her debut album, "Wildflower!," with a solo concert held Nov. 7 at dromNYC.

Directed by Lelund Durond Thompson with musical direction by Jason Michael Webb, the 7 PM concert will feature original music as well as a mix of music by Annie Lennox, Letta Mbulu and Chaka Khan.

Manye has also starred in the European and Japanese tours of Sarafina and has appeared on stage with Paul Simon, David Byrne and Hugh Masekela.
