James Andrew Walsh's The Extinction of Fireflies is now available for streaming across multiple platforms. Walsh also makes his directorial debut with the new comedy.
Michael Urie, most recently on Broadway in Chicken & Biscuits, and Olivier winner Tracie Bennett, who played Judy Garland in multiple productions of End of the Rainbow, both in London and New York City, head the cast. They are joined by Drew Droege and Kario Marcel (Troilus and Cressida).
The Extinction of Fireflies details the booze-filled beach weekend that occurs when writer James Walker (Droege) decides to invite his actor friend, Jay Mulch (Urie), along with British movie star, Charlotte Christian (Bennett), to give him feedback on his latest play.
Produced by Kimberly Chesser and Rhode Trip Pictures, the comedy is available on Apple TV, Comcast, Spectrum, iTunes, Prime Video, Vudu, Google Play, and YouTube.
