Lincoln Center Theater’s Off-Broadway production of Pipeline officially opened July 10 in the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater. Dominique Morisseau’s newest play looks at the relationship between an inner-city public high school teacher, played by Karen Pittman (Disgraced), and her only son, played by Namir Smallwood (The Hot L Baltimore).

Directed by Lileana Blain-Cruz, Pipeline began performances June 15. Completing the cast are Tasha Lawrence, Morocco Omari, Jaime Lincoln Smith, and Heather Velazquez.
Marianne Elliott's revival of the Stephen Sondheim-George Furth musical, starring Katrina Lenk and Patti LuPone, officially opened at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre December 9.
