A trio of stage favorites will join Darren Criss as headliners for the 2018 return of Elsie Fest, the outdoor music festival highlighting show tunes from Broadway and beyond. Set to lead the fourth annual event with co-creator Criss are Tony-winning Younger star Sutton Foster, Tony nominee and current Carousel star Joshua Henry, and Once On This Island's Alex Newell.
The New York City event, hosted by Z100's Elvis Duran, will take place October 7 at SummerStage in Central Park beginning at 6 PM.
Also set to make guest appearances are Grammy nominee Rufus Wainwright, The Flash star Grant Gustin, Tony nominee and The Little Mermaid favorite Jodi Benson, and the casts of Off-Broadway's Be More Chill, the Broadway-bound The Prom, and the movie musical Anna and the Apocalypse. As in years past, the festival will partner with the beloved West Village piano bar Marie's Crisis to host festival-wide singalongs during the event.
Additional performances will be announced at a later date.
