News Strathairn and Wilson to Participate in Oct. 9 Reading at 92nd Street Y New York stage actors David Strathairn and Mary Louise Wilson, as well as film actress Melissa Leo, will participate in an Oct. 9 reading of "Racing Daylight," a new screenplay by Nicole Quinn. The event will take place at 8 PM at Manhattan's Makor, a venue at 35 West 67th St. The reading is sponsored by the 92nd Street Y.

Wilson has appeared in such Broadway shows as The Women and Cabaret, as well as the one-woman show Full Gallop. She will be playing Queen Elizabeth in the New York Theater Workshop's The Beard of Avon this fall. Strathairn's many stage credits include Dance of Death, Stranger, Three Sisters and Hapgood. The script recently won Tanglewood Films' "First Fifteen " competition, which honors a screenplay that grips an audience in the first fifteen pages.
