Today marks the 100th birthday of special Tony recipient and musical legend Judy Garland. In celebration of the late actor, stage and screen performers have shared heartfelt sentiments on social media.
Rachel Zegler, best known for portraying Maria in Steven Spielberg's movie adaptation of West Side Story, shared a video via Twitter of her performing "The Man That Got Away," originally sung by Garland in the 1954 musical film A Star Is Born.

Wicked actor Jessica Vosk tweeted, "Ms. Judy Garland is 100 today. I’m here rehearing the 15 songs I’ll get to bring to life at the end of this month in San Francisco. I hope to make you proud, you badass icon of my dreams."

Alexandra Billings, who made her Broadway debut originating the role of Waxy Bush in The Nap and later starred as Madame Morrible in Wicked, penned a sweet tribute to the performer, sharing a video of Garland performing "Just in Time" and writing, "Garland had a unique and fascinating way of deepening every moment. Whether she was singing about a city or profound grief, every piece of her was involved and intimate. She changed my life."
Billings continued, "She brought me up when I felt there was no other voice leading me, holding me or paving a way for me. She has been my friend, my guide and a spiritual light that has sometimes, saved my existence and kept me present. Happy Birthday, Judy."
Randy Rainbow, who appeared in New York City Center's Encores!' Call Me Madam, tweeted, "One of those NYC nights when you’re at @thestonewallinn celebrating Judy Garland’s 100th birthday and Lorna Luft is like, 'Gurl, get in the car…we’re going to @CityWineryNYC to sing with Rufus Wainwright.'"

The Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization shared a clip of Judy Garland singing "You'll Never Walk Alone" from Carousel. The account wrote, "100 years of Judy Garland. Today we celebrate the iconic performer's milestone birthday! While Judy was originally slated to star as Julie Jordan in the 1956 film @CarouselMusical, she dropped out before filming began—but graced us with this beautiful cover of 'You'll Never Walk Alone' nearly 6 years later."

Singer and composer Rufus Wainwright wrote, "Happy 100th Birthday to the incomparable Judy Garland!" and shared that his album Rufus Does Judy at Capitol Studios album is available for streaming.
He continued, "Unlike my previous Rufus Does Judy performance, this album gave me a chance to delve into the Judy-ness of each song, even performing them with her microphone in a studio she spent much time in. Discovering the interior intimacy of each composition was something both exciting and unique to a studio."
